Many Prince Designed smaller conference and huddle spaces utilize Crestron Video Conferencing soundbars. The Crestron smart soundbar contains echo canceling microphones, speakers, and a Huddly IQ camera. The Huddly IQ camera uses facial recognition to digitally pan/zoom on meeting participants in the room to ensure the best image for the meeting.

In order to connect a Crestron soundbar to your computer, remember to follow the steps below.

  1. Only connect the soundbar to a computer with USB3.0 ports. These ports will be blue or have the super speed logo  next to them.  Connecting the soundbar to a standard USB2.0 port will decrease video quality and may prevent your computer from seeing the device.
  2. Besure to select "Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Crestron UC Soundbar)" as both your audio input and output device. Many video conferencing softwares ahve their own audio selection section in addition to your operating system. Be sure "Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Crestron UC Soundbar)" is selected in both places.
  3. Select Huddly IQ as your camera.
    1. To manually aim, zoom, and turn auto-framing off and on, download the Huddly App.
    2. After installation, the app will run in your system tray. Click the icon there to control the camera.
